Kamen Rider Den-O’s Takeru Satoh Talks About Pokemon GO In New CM

Takeru Satoh, known from Kamen Rider Den-O, shares his own Pokemon GO experiences in a new commercial.

In a new commercial airing in Japan, Takeru Satoh shares his feelings on the widely popular phone app made by Nintendo and Niantic. Takeru Satoh is best known in the tokusatsu community as Ryutaro Nogami in Kamen Rider Den-O, and has gone on to star in Rurouni Kenshin. 

He comments in the commercial on the fact that he made it to Level 29 as a Mystic player before falling off of the game, claiming he did “everything”. Someone presents the new trading features to Satoh and he appears intrigued, and willing to give it another go.

Nintendo and Niantic are hoping to win back former players with the new feature. The long-awaited trading ability is at the top of their list of promotions for this year.

The new commercial started running in Japan on August 21.
