Tsuburaya Releases New SSSS.Gridman Trailer

Tsuburaya has released a new SSSS.Gridman trailer to their Youtube channel.

The trailer shows off more animation and allows viewers to hear the voice cast in action for the first time. Viewers are also able to see Gridman performing one of his beam attacks during the trailer.

SSSS.Gridman will premiere in October of this year and serve as an anime adaptation of the 1994 Tsuburaya tokusatsu series, Gridman: The Hyper Agent, which was themed heavily around electronics and the internet.

It was also revealed that Siro Sagisu (Shin Godzilla, Evangelion) will be composing music for the series. Akira Amemiya (Inferno Cop, Ninja Slayer) will direct the series based on scripts from Keiichi Hasegawa (Ultraman Nexus, Kamen Rider W, Zoids). The Gridman design is done by Tsuburaya Productions’s Masayuki Goto. OxT will perform the opening theme ‘UNION’. OxT’s vocalist, Masayoshi Oishi, is currently performing Ultraman R/B‘s opening theme ‘Hands’.
