New Opening Song Listed for Lupinranger VS Patranger
The show’s third mini album release lists the latest opening song.
The track list for the upcoming Kaito Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger (Phantom Thief Sentai Lupinranger VS Police Sentai Patranger) lists the new song ‘Lupinranger, Here We Go!’ as an opening theme. ZETKI as part of Project.R credited for the song. This would be just the second time a completely new song is used as an opening theme in Super Sentai history.
The current opening song Lupinranger VS Patoranger is a mash up of two independent songs written for each of the teams in the series.
No dates have been announced for when the new song will be used.

I think Recochoku made a mistake on this one, Columbia’s page for the mini album says nothing about this being a new opening. The description for it on their site calls “Lupinrager, Here We Go!” as the Lupinranger’s action song.

What does this mean? Insufficient Toy Sales? Low TV-Show Audience? Change of Staff, Diector and Main Writer?
I’m Scared that “LupinRanger VS PatRanger” may be in same situation than “Kamen Rider Blade”, “Kamen Rider Hibiki” and “Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters”…
