SSSS.Gridman to Premiere at Anime Expo

Anime Expo have announced that the upcoming Gridman anime will see its premiere at this year’s event.

The premiere will feature animator and character designer, Masaru Sakamoto, and animation producer, Masato Takeuchi, who will also join Koyama and Wakabayashi for a Q&A session during the SSSS.Gridman premiere event.

SSSS.Gridman is an anime based on Tsuburaya Productions’ 1993 tokusatsu Denko Chojin Gridman (Gridman the Hyper Agent), a series that focused on a group of kids piloting vehicles and fighting digital threats inside of computers.

Keiichi Hasegawa (Ultraman Nexus, Kamen Rider W) is writing the script for the show, which will begin its broadcast run in “Autumn 2018”.
