“New Super Heroine Guidebook” Blu-ray to be Released

A roundtable discussion Blu-ray will feature actresses from ten Super Sentai series.

A special two-volume Blu-ray series titled New Super Heroine Guidebook will be released on October 3rd. The two volume series will feature actresses from the Super Sentai series that aired between 2002 and 2011, discussing five female focused episodes from each of those shows.

The returning actresses include Nao Nagasawa (HurricaneBlue) from Ninpu Sentai Hurricanger, Michi Nishijima (Emiri) from Bakuryuu Sentai Abaranger (Blastsaur Sentai Abranger), Mika Kikuchi (DekaPink) from Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger (Special Investigation Sentai Dekaranger), Ayumi Beppu (MagiPink) from Mahou Sentai Magiranger (Magic Sentai Magiranger), and Mami Yamazaki (Shizuka of the Wind) from GoGo Sentai Boukenger (Rumbling Sentai Boukenger) in volume one. Volume two features Yuka Hirata (Mele) from Juuken Sentai Gekiranger, Yumi Sugimoto (Go-OnSilver) from Engine Sentai Go-Onger, Suzuka Morita (ShinkenYellow) from Samurai Sentai Shinkenger, Mikiho Niwa (GoseiYellow) from Tensou Sentai Goseiger and Yui Koike (GokaiPink) from Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger (Pirate Sentai Gokaiger).

Although the actresses did not appear in the same series, they got along like friends and were able to discuss similar experiences including the staff and suit actors from JAE (Japan Action Enterprise).
