Fandom Fest 2

Japanese film and tokusatsu icons, Kenji Ohba and Sonny Chiba, will appear at Fandom Fest in Louisville, KY the weekend of July 28th to 30th 2017.

Management group, Celebrity ICONS will bring Japanese film and tokusatsu iconic actors, Kenji Ohba and Sonny Chiba to Fandom Fest convention at the Jefferson Mall Event Center in Louisville, KY from Friday, July 28th to July 30th 2017. There will be photo ops and autographs available for both of them.

Kenji Ohba is known for being Hattori Hanzo’s assistant in Kill Bill, and more famously as Retsu Ichijoji in Space Sheriff Gavan. He is the president of his own action/stunt troupe called “Luck JET” (“JET” being an acronym for “Jaunty Eventful Troupe”). He also played one of Shurikenger’s human forms and appeared in Juken Sentai Gekiranger as Dan, the father of Jan Kandou/GekiRed. He also appeared in Kamen Rider Black RX as Shou Kujou and in one episode of Sekai Ninja Sen Jiraiya as Yajiro Iyo.

Sonny Chiba is known for being Hattori Hanzo in Kill Bill, Takuma Tsurugi in the Street Fighter film trilogy, and Lord Conqueror in The Storm Riders. Chiba was one of the first known actors to achieve stardom through his skills in martial arts, initially in Japan and later before an international audience.

Fandom Fest previously hosted various tokusatsu actors in the previous year, which included Godzilla suit actors, Kenpachiro Satsuma, Tsutomu Kitagawa, and Mizuho Yoshida.

A long time fan of Tokusatsu series. My favorites are Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, GARO, Godzilla, and Ultraman.
