Godzilla Suit Actors Appearing at Days of the Dead: Indianapolis

Haruo Nakajima and Tsutomu Kitagawa are coming to the Days of the Dead convention this summer.

Days of the Dead is an annual convention that holds events in Indianapolis, Louisville, Chicago, and more. For their Indianapolis convention, Days of the Dead will host Godzilla suit actors Haruo Nakajima and Tsutomu Kitagawa.

Haruo Nakajima is the original Godzilla suit actor. He was behind the kaiju throughout the Showa era until 1972’s Godzilla vs. Gigan. Nakajima also played Mothra and Rodan in their debut films, as well as Godzilla-derivative kaiju Gomess and Jirass in Ultra Q and Ultraman.

Tsutomu Kitagawa took over the role during the Millennium era, playing him in every film save GMK, following a long stint as a Super Sentai suit actor.

Days of the Dead: Indianapolis will be held June 30th to July 2nd at the Wyndham Indianapolis West. Tickets are available here.
