Godzilla Actress and Designer Attending Chiller Theater

Megumi Odaka of 90’s Godzilla fame and Godzilla monster and special effects designer Shinji Nishikawa will be at the Chiller Theater Expo April 21-23.

Megumi Odaka, formerly a Japanese idol, is well known for her role in Godzilla films of the 1990’s. Now, she will be attending the Chiller Theater Expo. Advertised as a “toy, model and film expo,” Chiller Theater is running from April 21st to April 23rd of this year at the Hilton hotel in Parsippany, New Jersey.

Odaka will be joined by Shinji Nishikawa who is known for designing Godzilla himself along with all the other monsters in 2004’s Godzilla: Final Wars. Just one year prior, he was credited as the special effects design artist for Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S. This is not the first time these two attended such an event together as they attended last year’s Monsterpalooza.
