Big Dog Ink Starts Kickstarter For Kaiju Epic! Project
Writers, Tom Hutchison and Kari Castor, team up for the first part of a five-volume Kaiju Epic!
Tom Hutchison, co-founder of indie comics publisher Big Dog Ink, recently launched a Kickstarter for Kaiju Epic!, a new project that aims to merge ancient legends with modern kaiju tropes. He and Kari Castor, who previously worked on BDI’s Shahrazad, are teaming up to write a five-volume book about the end of the world. Each volume will be 48-pages long and consist of two stories from around the world.
The project has already raised over $4,000 of its $9,000 goal, and there are still 24 days left in the campaign. Pledge rewards include digital and physical copies of the first volume, exclusive variant covers by artists like previously Tokusatsu Network Artist Feature, Matt Frank, and Samantha Sawyer, and the opportunity to be drawn into the book.
