Live Action Adaptation of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 4 Announced
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 4: Diamond is Unbreakable will be receiving a live action adaptaion.
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure is a long running action manga that focuses on descendants of the Joestar family. From Part 3 onward Stands are introduced, spiritual energy that manifests in a visual form, giving the Stand User unique abilities.
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable: Chapter 1 will focus on the early section of Part 4. Josuke Higashikata is a delinquent high school student and a Stand User, who unbeknownst to him, is the child of Joseph Joestar, the protagonist from Part 2: Battle Tendency.
Jotaro Kujo, the protagonist from Part 3: Stardust Crusaders, arrives to tell Josuke of this fact and to warn him of a potential killer in Morioh town.
The cast of Chapter 1 includes Kento Yamazaki (Death Note Live Action) as Josuke Higashikata, Makenyu (Kamen Rider Drive: Surprise Future) as Koichi Hirose, Yusuke Iseya (Rurouni Kenshin Part II: Kyoto Inferno, Honey and Clover) as Jotaro Kujo, and Alisa Mizuki (Kochikame) as Tomoko Higashikata.
Diamond is Unbreakable was serialized on Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from 1992 to 1995. David Production has been adapting the manga into multiple television anime series, beginning with Part 1 in 2012. Its television anime adaptation of Diamond is Unbreakable premiered on April 1 and is currently airing on Crunchyroll
