Macross, Thunderbirds Designer Shoji Kawamori to Appear at AX 2016

Anime Expo has announced that Shoji Kawamori will appear at AX 2016 as one of their Guest of Honor.

The designer, who has worked on every Macross series and recently created designs for Thunderbirds are Go! will be available for autograph sessions as well as a panel that has yet to be scheduled. Some of Kawamori’s past works also include Eureka Seven, Ghost in the Shell, AKB0048 as well as the 1979 anime TV series, The Ultraman.
