Godzilla vs. Evangelion S.H. MonsterArts Godzilla Announced

Premium Bandai announced the newest part of the Godzilla vs. Evangelion collaboration campaign in the form of an Eva-01 inspired redeco of S.H. MonsterArts.

In a campaign that started in April, a number of products featuring the cast of Neon Genesis Evangelion and the kaiju of Godzilla together in quite the number of ways. The next step in the collaboration between the two franchises is a newly painted version of the S.H.MonsterArts release of the original Godzilla.

What sets this figure apart from previous versions of the mold is the fact that Godzilla is painted to match the color scheme of Evangelion‘s Eva Unit 01, otherwise known as EVA-01. The toy, titled “Godzilla feat. EVA-01” features two additional hands as well as an effects part sets for added display options.

Eva Unit Godzilla is still a long ways from release, scheduled to ship from Premium Bandai sometime in January, 2017. The figure will set fans back ¥9,936 before fees and shipping. Preorders will begin May 20th, 2016 and conclude at an undisclosed date.
