Takeru, Makoto, and Alain have returned from the Gamma World. Takeru had witnessed something horrific there. Makoto was unable to recover his physical body while Alain returned to his body. In spite of bonding with Cubi and confirming that the Gamma can have a soul, Takeru has never been more worried and fearful.

Alain, on his part, was not only betrayed but framed by his brother Adel for the murder of their father, Adonis. Also, he has been returned to his physical body. His own mind cannot fathom the speed at which everything he believed in came crumbling down. He has a hard time getting used to his body of flesh again and starts feeling hunger.

Jabel appears with an order by Adele to kill Alain. Makoto transforms into Specter to protect Alain while Takeru, unwilling to help a Gamma, turns his back on them. Ten of the Eyecons he had recovered abandoned him. What will happen next?
