Shota Sasano to Portray Last Ninja

A new actor will portray the Ninningers’ grandfather in upcoming episodes.

Shota Sasano, who is the real life son of Takashi Sasano, who portrays The Last Ninja within Shuriken Sentai Ninninger, will take on his father’s role and play a younger version of the character. Sasano’s appearance in the series will tie into a story line involving the appearance of two new AkaNinger, which in turn ties into the multi-generational themes the story of the series is based around.

This will be Shota Sasano’s first on screen appearance in six years.
