Mr. Nietzsche in the Convenience Store Added to Crunchyroll
Mr. Nietzsche in the Convenience Store is the latest drama on Crunchyroll.
New J-Drama Mr. Nietzsche in the Convenience Store has been added to Crunchyroll’s Winter Simulcast schedule, alongside Shiratori Reiko. The first episode is available now for all viewers, and new episodes will be uploaded on Thursdays at 6pm PST.
Mr. Nietzsche in the Convenience Store tells the story of part-time convenient store worker Matsukoma, and the new part-time worker, Tomoharu Nii, nicknamed Nietzsche-sensei. Despite Matsukoma’s enthusiastic approach to his job, his teachings are lost on Nietzche-sensei, who, much like his namesake, has a bleaker outlook on things.
The show’s cast should be very familiar to Kamen Rider fans. Matsukoma, the employee tasked with training the eponymous Mr. Nietzsche, is played by Kamen Rider Kuuga’s N-Daguvba-Zeba, Kenji Urai. Rio Uchida, who played Kiriko in Kamen Rider Drive, and Ryo Matsuda, Gridon in Kamen Rider Gaim, also play part-timers at the store. The show’s head director is Yuichi Fukuda, known for his work on Blue Blazes and The Hero Yoshihiko.
