“Kamen Rider Drive” Lead Actor, Ryoma Takeuchi Cast in Live Action Adaptation of “Aozora Yell”

Kamen Rider Drive lead actor, Ryoma Takeuchi, has been cast in the live-action adaptation of Aozora Yell.

Ryoma Takeuchi, who portrayed Tomari Shinnosuke in Kamen Rider Drive, has been cast as Daisuke Yamada in the live action adaption of the manga, Aozora Yell.

Aozora Yell also stars Tao Tsuchiya, Makimachi Misao from Rurouni Kenshin: The Legend Ends as Tsubana Ono and Shono Hayama, Yuji from Haunted School: The Curse of Word Spirit as Aki Mizushima.

The story of the manga centers on Tsubasa, a girl who saw an inspirational brass band performance at the finals of the Japanese high school baseball championships one summer. Because of this, Tsubasa vowed to join the band when she entered high school. When she gets there, she happens to meet a certain boy.

The manga, which has 2.5 million copies currently in circulation, began in 2008, and ended in October of 2015. The final volume will be released on January 25th  2016.
