Kamen Rider Chaser V-Cinema Announced


The official Kamen Rider Drive twitter announced an upcoming Kamen Rider Chaser V-Cinema movie slated for April 2016.

As seen from the translation below, the upcoming movie will focus on Chaser’s origins.

Announcing the V-Cinema Drive Saga Kamen Rider Chaser. The story will touch upon his roots and an unknown aspect of him.


Taiko Katono returns to reprise his role as Chase. The movie will be written by Riku Sanjo, writer for Drive, Kamen Rider W and Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger. It is also directed by Hidenori Ishida, who also directed episodes of previous Kamen Rider series such as Gaim, Wizard, and Fourze. 

There will be a regular and special Break Gunner special edition, both in DVD and Blu-ray format. The Break Gunner special edition will include a DX Break Gunner (Drive Saga version) that includes voices from the Drive cast, a new Viral Core, and a Special Liner Card. All versions will include the making-of videos, trailers, and a data file. Both Blu-ray versions will also include audio commentary.

The regular DVD will cost ¥4,500 (plus tax) and the regular Blu-ray ¥5,500 (plus tax). The Break Gunner special edition DVD is priced at ¥10,000 (plus tax) and the Blu-ray at ¥11,000 (plus tax).

UPDATE: 9/26/15 7:12pm When first reported, the official Drive Saga website went down due to an incorrect post written as “Lockseed” rather “Break Gunner”. The Tokusatsu Network followed the initial incorrect phrasing.
