New Mr. Maxman Trailer Released

Mr. Maxman film debuts new trailer and release date.

Mr. Maxman, which debuted at the Okinawa Film Festival earlier this year, released a new trailer this week in anticipation of its October 17th theatrical opening. The film stars Yudai Chiba, best known as Alata/Gosei Red, alongside other tokusatsu alums Jun Kaname (Kamen Rider Agito), Yuki Kubota (Kamen Rider Gaim), and Mizuki Yamamoto (Aoi Honoo).

Mr. Maxman is written by Kamen Rider Ghost’s head writer, Takuro Fukuda, and directed by Tetsuhide Matsuda.

A broadcaster on the edge makes a drastic transformation into the most formidable salaryman hero in history! A broadcasting TV station hero donning black rimmed glasses is gloriously born! Masayoshi Taniguchi, who has been working at Japan TV for three years, is the No.2 presenter of a morning information show “Fresh Wide”. He can never get ahead for he is always making mistakes. His unrequited love for Yuko, a childhood friend and news reporter in the same workplace, is also just going around in circles. One day, he realizes that once he wears the glass spectacles he found on a job, he gains superhuman powers, and makes up his mind to stand up as a knight in shining armor.
