DX Maron Energy Lockseed & Genesis Core Unit PV Released
Bandai’s YouTube Channel has recently put up a PV featuring Gaku Matsuda to promote the upcoming Premium Bandai DX Maron Energy Lockseed & Genesis Core Unit.
In the upcoming Gaim Gaiden Kamen Rider Duke & Kamen Rider Knuckle V-Cinema, Zack, played by Gaku Matsuda, will obtain a new Energy Lockseed known as the Maron (Chestnut) Energy Lockseed and a Genesis Core Unit. Using a newly acquired Sengoku Driver, Zack will be able to utilize the new Lockseed and device with his Kurumi Lockseed to transform into Kamen Rider Knuckle Jinba Maron Arms.
The set, available from Premium Bandai, will include the DX Maron Energy Lockseed, as well as a presumably unaltered Genesis Core Unit. The Genesis Core Unit was previously only available via purchasing the Genesis Driver and removing the core from the Driver itself. This is the first time it will be available without the Genesis Driver.
The Maron Energy Lockseed functions like every other Energy Lockseed, playing a standard “Liquid! Maron Energy Arms!” sound in the DX Genesis Driver, and a “Jinba Maron! Haha!” sound when used in the Sengoku Driver via a Genesis Core. The back button of the Lockseed will play a select number of phrases from both Zack and Kaito from the film.
The toy is currently available for pre-order from Premium Bandai for ¥2,700 before fees. Pre-orders for the toy will close on August 27th, 2015 at 5:00 PM JST, so get those orders in fast. The set is due to ship to customers in November, 2015.
To promote the toy, Bandai’s YouTube has recently released a PV to demonstrate the functions and sounds of the toy. The PV features Gaku Matsuda demonstrating the item.

The end slide of the PV states “Zack and Kaito’s lines have been recorded!” referencing the fact that the Lockseed’s back button will initiate phrases from both Zack and Kaito.
