Former Power Rangers star, Ricardo Medina Jr., was arrested for fatally stabbing his roommate.

Ricardo Medina Jr. (37) was taken into custody by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s office after receiving a call made by Medina at 3:50 PM on Saturday about the stabbing of his roommate, Joshua Sutter, at their home in Palmdale, California.

According to law enforcement, Medina got into an argument with his roommate that resulted in a physical altercation. Medina then returned to his room with his girlfriend but was followed by Sutter, who forced his way into the room. Medina is said to have stabbed Sutter in the abdomen with a sword that he kept in his room. Sutter was taken to the hospital where he later passed away. Medina’s bail was posted for $1 million.

Ricardo Medina Jr. got his start in acting as Cole Evans, the Red Wild Force Ranger in 2002’s Power Rangers Wild Force. He later returned to the franchise in 2011 as a new character named Deker in Power Rangers Samurai and 2012’s Power Rangers Super Samurai.
