Armor Hero Season 4 Announced

The armors worn by the heroes during season 3.

The latest entry in the long running Chinese tokusatsu franchise, Armor Hero, has been announced.

The series which began in 2008 with Armor Hero and was then followed up by the second season, Armor Hero XT in 2011, and the third season, Armor Hero Lava in 2013 will be getting a fourth season in 2016. The shows follow a group of heroes descended from an ancient lineage with the ability to harness the power of the elements through armored suits to battle demons and other threats to humanity.

The story for season 4 is as follows:

Super intelligent computer monsters, Jiang Gui, have taken over the world in 2049, but humans try to resist. In order to fully control the world and humanity, the Jiang Gui travel back in time to 2016 in order to gather info on humanity. Su Xiao Xiao (played by Wang Chang Chang) is attacked by one of the monsters and loses her memories. The hotblooded Xin Yi (played by Lai Yi) decides to help out Xiao Xiao. But it’s not as easy as they think, since the Jiang Gui keep attacking them. Luckily, Xin Yi gets ahold of an Armor Hero transformation device, he transforms into Bu Jiang and fights the Jiang Gui.

The fourth season, Armor Hero Bu Jiang, began filming in October and will air in early 2016. The new look of the heroes has yet to be revealed.
