Lobsterdance Productions Releases Music Video ‘Pirate Song’

Pirate Song

Two indie groups based in Atlanta, GA team up to release a new music video titled “Pirate Song”.

Indie nerd rock band Go, Robo! Go! got together with independent film production group Lobsterdance Productions, which includes TokuNet editor Yasin, to create a music video that uses miniature special effects to immerse the viewer in this world of pirates and plunder. Specializing in making films with practical effects in the vein of Japanese tokusatsu productions, the Lobsterdance crew created miniatures buildings, a cove set in a pool built within a garage, and realistic foliage to bring to life the sets needed to match the pirate-themed song. Including the costumes which were around $200, the entire production was completed with the budget of under $1K.

Check out the video below as well as some behind-the-scenes photos from the sets.
