Nagoya Brodcasting Company’s Anime Block to End in September
The Nagoya Broadcasting Network’s anime block that featured Gundam will end after forty years
The network’s anime block that produced Mobile Suit Gundam, The Warrior series and Battle Spirits will come to an end in September.
The block created original works that would also sell figures aimed at the young male audience, however, due to the declining birth rates in Japan, declining TV ratings followed, and will be replaced with a news segment beginning in October.
“The 42 works that were produced were almost all original. Every year we’d put out something new and show it for a year. We kept up with it for forty years now.” said Producer Kouichiro Fukushima
