Power Rangers Reboot Movie Release Date Postponed
The release date for the upcoming Power Rangers reboot movie has been pushed back.
The upcoming Power Rangers reboot movie that was originally slated for a January 13th 2017 release, has been pushed back to March 24th 2017. This is the second time the release date for the anticipated reboot film has been changed. The initial date was set for July 22, 2016.
The Power Rangers movie has taken the date originally intended for The Divergent Series: Ascendant. Ascendant‘s release has been moved back by three months, moving from March 24th to June 9th 2017. Both movies are produced by Lionsgate Studios.
The Power Ranger reboot movie is a revival of the franchise for the silver screen. Based on the first television series debuting in 1993, the upcoming Mighty Morphin Power Rangers movie stars Dacre Montgomery as The Red Ranger, Jason; Ludi Lin as The Black Ranger, Zack; RJ Cyler as The Blue Ranger, Billy; Becky Gomez as The Yellow Ranger, Trini; and Naomi Scott as The Pink Ranger, Kimberly.
