Garo: The Carved Seal of Flames to Air October 3rd

The GARO anime, titled Garo: The Carved Seal of Flames, will begin airing on Japanese television on October 3rd.

The series will begin airing on TV Tokyo every Friday night at 1:23am, with airings on neighbouring prefecture networks occurring afterwards.

Garo: The Carved Seal of Flames will be written by noted tokusatsu writer Yasuko Kobayashi (Zero: Black Blood, Shinkenger, Attack on Titan) and directed by Yūichirō Hayashi (009 RE:CYBORG, Trigun: Badlands Rumble). Studio Mappa (Shingeki no Bahamut: Genesis, Hajime no Ippo Rising) will be in charge of the animation.

There will be a free special pre-screening event in Japan on September 18th. The pre-screening tickets, though free, were given away by lottery. The Tokusatsu Network staff will be in attendance.
