Ultraman Neos Appears In Chinese State Farm Commercial

Ultraman Neos recently made a brief return to television in the form of a Chinese State Farm Insurance commercial.

This short commercial sees Ultraman Neos coming to the rescue of a family in a car accident, only to find that the real hero is their State Farm agent.

The choice of Ultraman Neos for the commercial is somewhat ironic, given the character’s history. Originally developed for a 1995 TV series, Neos never saw the light of day outside of TV Magazine comics. He would be featured years later in a direct-to-video series that temporarily replaced Ultraman Cosmos during the show’s brief hiatus in 2002.
