Super Space Sheriff Gavan: Infinity Kicks Off Toei’s ‘Project R.E.D.’ In 2026

Toei has revealed the logo and first teaser visual for Project R.E.D.

Toei has revealed the first visual and new information about a new tokusatsu entry, titled “Project R.E.D.” The first entry in this new project will be the recently revealed Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity. This new project will air in place of the Super Sentai timeslot in 2026.

In 2026, taking the broadcast slot that has delivered the Super Sentai Series, beloved for 50 long years since 1975;

Taking its name from the English translation of “Chou Jigen Eiyuutan”, “Records of Extraordinary Dimensions,” the series takes the initials “R.E.D.” and, true to its name, will center on the exploits of “red heroes.” In this series, the various works that will air from here on will cross over with one another, adding depth to their respective worlds and creating a multifaceted expanding universe.

Fifty years of history now reaches for even greater heights. In 2026, you will witness the birth of a new legend.

The memorable first entry in the lineup has been decided:
Super Space Sheriff Gavan: Infinity! A reborn Gavan who inherits the groundbreaking spirit of the original hero, while building an all-new world from the ground up!

Seeing this title, many fans will surely feel a wave of nostalgia because Space Sheriff Gavan (1982–1983) was a wildly popular series depicting the hero who battled a galactic crime organization to protect Earth.”
