Kamen Rider V3 and Space Sheriff Shaider Blu-Ray’s Announced

Discotek Media has announced that Kamen Rider V3 and Space Sheriff Shaider will be released on Blu-Ray with English subtitles in 2024. 

Discotek Media has announced that the full series of Kamen Rider V3 and Space Sheriff Shaider will be released on Blu-ray in 2024. Both series will be subtitled in English in HD quality. The announcement came on August 3rd during Discotek Media’s Otakon 2024 panel.

The first series announced during the Otakon 2024 panel was the 1984 Toei tokusatsu series Space Sheriff Shaider. The third entry in Toei’s Metal Hero series, this Blu-ray release will feature all 49 episodes in HD quality. The series follows Dai Sawamura, who is chosen to be Earth’s third Space Sheriff in order to fight the Fuuma Empire. A number of bonus features are also included, such as a cast reunion, a photo gallery, a karaoke version of the opening song, and a series retrospective essay by Mike Dent. Space Sheriff Shaider is set to be released on Blu-ray in September 2024.

The second series announced during Discotek’s Otakon panel is the 1973 Toei tokusatsu series Kamen Rider V3. A direct follow-up to the original 1971 Kamen Rider show, this series follows Shiro Kazami, who is remodeled into Kamen Rider V3 by his predecessors to fight the evil Destron organization. All 52 episodes are included in HD quality with English and Japanese subtitles. This Blu-ray also features a number of bonus features, such as interviews, a cast reunion segment, series promos, a photo gallery, and liner notes from Mike Dent. Kamen Rider V3 is expected to release later in 2024.
