Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger Hurricane Gyro -MEMORIAL EDITION- Announced

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Hurricaneger, Premium Bandai announced the Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger Hurricane Gyro -MEMORIAL EDITION- set from the 26th Super Sentai series, Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger. 

The Hurricane Gyros are the transformation tools of the Hurricanegers, which are also capable of shooting Gyro Shuriken at opponents. To transform, the Hurricangers shout “Ninpuu, Shinobi Change!” and spin their Shinobi Medals mounted on the front of the brace to equip their Ninja Suits.

In commemoration of Hurricaneger’s 20th anniversary, Premium Bandai is releasing the transformation item, Hurricane Gyro, with memorial specifications. The set includes the Hurricane Gyro as well as HurricaneRed, HurricaneBlue, and HurricaneYellow’s Shinobi Medals. Set the Shinobi Medal on top of the Hurricane Gyro, press the transformation button, and spin the dial on the side to activate the transformation sound and transform into a Hurricaneger. LED lights will even light up. Press the attack button and rotate the dial to activate the attack sound.

This version is equipped with separate Red, Blue, and Yellow modes that were not available in the 2002 Hurricane Gyro release. The user can even enjoy the transformation into a Hurricaneger with dialogue. This version includes newly recorded voices of Yousuke Shiina (portrayed by Shun Shioya), Nanami Nono (act: Nao Nagasawa), Kouta Bitou (act: Kohei Yamamoto), and Oboro Hinata (portrayed by Shoko Takada). Yousuke, Nanami, and Kouta transform into the Hurricanegers while Oboro is their mentor and equips them with the arsenal. By pressing the dialogue button on the main unit, the user can listen to the dialogue from the TV show and enjoy the communication sounds. In addition, the main body will include the opening song “Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger” and a total of 5 BGM songs.

This product can also be linked with the Oedo Medal that comes with the Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger de Gozaru! Shushutto 20th Anniversary Oedo Medal Edition DVD and Blueray releases, scheduled for an October 25, 2023 release. By attaching it to the Hurricane Gyro, you can listen to the transformation sounds of the new form that appears in the movie.

Premium Bandai does not guarantee the Shinobi Medals released in 2002 will work with this version and that the Shinobi Medals in this version will work with the DX released back in 2002.

The Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger Hurricane Gyro -MEMORIAL EDITION- set from Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger will go for 13,200 Yen (tax included) and is scheduled for shipment in September 2023. Preorders are being accepted starting December 26, 2022, at 16:00 JST until June 30, 2023, at 23:00 JST.
