S.H. Figuarts Astra Announced

On May 25, 2022, Tsuburaya Productions announced the upcoming release of a S.H. Figuarts Astra figure from Ultraman Leo.

Twin brother of Ultraman Leo, Astra is the latest addition to the Ultraman Leo S.H. Figuarts collection. Tsuburaya Productions announced on May 25, 2022, that the figure was in production and would be released in October of 2022 for ¥7150, tax included.

The Astra figure comes with five sets of replaceable hands and a replacement chest for different poses, and an Ultra Double Flasher effect piece that can be used in tandem with the Ultraman Leo figure that is sold separately. Astra also comes with the Ultra Key, seen in Episode 38 of Ultraman Leo! Additionally, Astra also comes with a red color timer, allowing for more elaborate fight scene recreations.

Tamashii Nations placed special emphasis on the chain around Astra’s left leg, as it is made with metal parts. The “magmatic chain” is a reminder of Astra’s imprisonment by the Alien Magma.

Orders for the figure are limited to one per person, with reservations opening May 26 at 4 p.m. JST. Reservations are open while supplies last.
