Ultraman Tiga, Dyna and Gaia to Receive North American DVD Release

Later this year, Mill Creek Entertainment will begin releasing boxed DVD sets of Ultraman Tiga, Ultraman Dyna and Ultraman Gaia. 

The box set for Tiga will be released on Oct. 5, 2021, with Dyna releasing on Nov. 2, 2021, and Gaia releasing on Dec. 7, 2021, for $34.99 USD each. Each boxed set will include the full series and their accompanying specials. The DVDs will have Japanese audio with English subtitles.

Mill Creek currently sells the complete series of other Ultraman titles like Ultraman Geed, Ultraman R/B, and Ultraseven, as well as standalone movies in the franchise. They stated that they are able to release these sets in North America due to a distribution deal between themselves, Indigo Entertainment, and Tsuburaya Productions.

Tiga was released in 1996 and started the revival of the franchise in Japan, with new series being released almost every year after a 15-year hiatus following Ultraman 80. Dyna and Gaia premiered after Tiga. 

Mill Creek announced the release a day after the debut of Ultraman Trigger, a spiritual successor to Tiga. Trigger follows the life of Kengo Manaka (Raiga Terasaka), a botanist who lives on Mars attempting to cultivate life on the red planet until he is linked to the powers of Trigger in order to fight evil.
