This Week in Tokusatsu Merchandise 5/31/21 – 6/4/21

The tokusatsu merchandise roundup for the first week of June 2021 features exclusive merchandise inspired by the Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, and Ultra Series. 

Starting off with the Kamen Rider series, we have the Kamen Rider (Showa series) tie. It is a tie that can be used every day, incorporating each character mark into the design. The color is based on the image of a character. It is made of 100% silk and measures an overall length of approximately 145 cm with the large sword width being approximately 8.0 cm. The designs available include: Kamen Rider 1, Kamen Rider V3, Kamen Rider Amazon, Kamen Rider BLACK, Kamen Rider BLACK RX, and Showa Kamen Rider Marks.

Next, we have the Kamen Rider x Golden Bear t-shirt collection featuring Kamen Rider 1, Kamen Rider Black, and Kamen Rider Kuuga. They commemorate the Kamen Rider 50th Anniversary, this is a t-shirt collection that uses hybrid functional material that uses 100% polyester (Coolmax) on the backside. With excellent water absorption and quick-drying, it quickly absorbs and evaporates sweat and moisture, so you can always enjoy a dry and comfortable fit. Each shirt is made of 50% cotton and 50% polyester. After, there’s the Kamen Rider Series moving tote bag. It is a tote bag that is A4 size compatible and suitable for room/office movement such as teleworking and working from home. The size of the computer that can be stored supports up to 13.5 inches. (YUBI research). If you use it together with a commercially available A4 file box, you can put it on a bookshelf smoothly. The bag is made of polyester and measures approx. 29 cm vertically x approx. 38 cm horizontally x approx. 12 cm machi with a handle measuring 34 cm. No Fear! No Pain! Next, we have the Kamen Rider Kuuga silver925 ring. The ring features the engravings found on Kamen Rider Kuuga’s Transformation Belt Arcle. It’s a silver925 ring designed with the ancient Linto script seen in the TV series. The side is engraved with Linto script written in Roman letters. It’s a plain and simple ring with a solid thickness. The ring is made of silver925 and comes in sizes: No. 16, No. 18, No. 20, No. 22, No. 24, and No. 26.

Take the trump card of fate with the Kamen Rider Blade silver925 Kenzaki Kazuma Model ver.2 necklace. This necklace is the one that Kazuma Kenzaki/Kamen Rider Blade wears in both the Kamen Rider Blade TV series and in his later appearances, particularly in Kamen Rider Zi-O. It is made out of silver925 and features a sword design with a spade on top. The pendant measures a height of approx. 50 mm x width of approx. 13.5 mm. “Eiji… I’m no longer the hand that you need to reach out to.” Kamen Rider OOO Ankh silver925 rings feature a silver925 ring with the image of a hawk’s claw decorating the index finger and a ring with the image of a hawk’s wings decorating the middle finger. The hawk claw ring is a heavy ring made of silver925, which is a hawk claw-shaped ring plated with 24 gold plating and processed with sumi. The hawk feather ring is a delicate and delicate design ring with the image of hawk feathers

“This is my stage now!” The Kamen Rider Gaim Kota Kazuraba Necklace is a necklace worn by the main character, Kota Kazuraba, in the Kamen Rider Gaim TV series. This is a necklace with a natural taste using turquoise and wood beads. The sword motif on the pendant top is an original design made of silver925. It has a combination of turquoise and WOOD beads with the warmth of nature, which has been used as a talisman for a long time. To match with the necklace and bracelet, Premium Bandai is also releasing the Kamen Rider Gaim TEAM GAIM Warlord (Kota Kazuraba) ver.2 hooded jacket. From Kamen Rider Gaim, the fabric will be changed to the same as the design image of the hoodie worn by the main character, Kota Kazuraba, on Team Gaim in the Kamen Rider Gaim TV series. It is a high-impact hoodie with a full-color printed illustration of a military commander’s ukiyo-e style. The design is based on the team color blue.

Each item features a Transformation or Power Up Sentai Gear used by the six Zenkaigers. Original design t-shirts commemorating the 55th anniversary of Ultraman and the 25th anniversary of Ultraman Tiga will be on sale from June 5, 2021 (Saturday) on the official Jeans Mate EC site and in stores. The design of each t-shirt incorporates the characteristics of each character while keeping in mind the simplicity so that both items in both series can be used on a daily basis.
