This Week in Tokusatsu Merchandise 4/26/21 – 4/30/21

The tokusatsu merchandise roundup for the final week of April 2021 features new merchandise from the Kamen Rider and Ultra Series. 

To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Kamen Rider, Premium Bandai is traveling back to 1971 to bring us new and exclusive merchandise featuring designs inspired by Kamen Rider 1 and the evil Shocker Combatants.

First, we have the Kamen Rider 1 Belt Buckle SILVER ring. This ring is part of the Kamen Rider 50th anniversary project. It features the motif of Kamen Rider 1’s transformation belt, Typhoon. The casual plate-like design makes it suitable for a variety of fashions. The ring is made of silver925 and comes in sizes: No. 10, No. 12, No. 14, No. 16, No. 18, No. 20, No. 22, No. 24, and No. 26.

The Kamen Rider 1 Belt Buckle SILVER ring from the original Kamen Rider will go for 12,100 Yen (tax included) and is scheduled for shipment in July 2021. Preorders are being accepted today.

To compliment the ring, Premium Bandai is releasing the Kamen Rider 1 Narikiri t-shirt. The body armor design of Kamen Rider 1 is printed on the front and back of the shirt and it’s made of 100% sporty polyester material with good breathability. Shadows and fine details are replicated by inkjet, and the polyester material makes the color very beautiful. In addition, in order to improve the reproducibility of the print, an original body of a single piece of cloth with no seams on the sleeves was recreated. The design has his transformation belt printed on the waist, so you can enjoy the transformation feeling just by wearing this t-shirt. Because of the product print, the print on the side of the product (shoulder, armpit, both sides) may be faint or white.

Also, due to the nature of the print, some prints may become lighter. There will be some individual differences. Precautions for washing: Please wash with the printed side inside as it may fray. Switching sides, we have the Kamen Rider Shocker Big Silhouette t-shirt. It is a t-shirt inspired by the Shocker Combatants that fight Kamen Rider 1. The shirt features a big silhouette t-shirt with a large width, so you can wear it comfortably. It is made of 100% cotton and comes in sizes: M (total length: 69 cm, body width: 58 cm, shoulder width: 55 cm, sleeve: 23 cm), L (total length: 73 cm, width: 61 cm, shoulder width: 58 cm, sleeve: 25 cm), and XL (total length: 77 cm, body width: 64 cm, shoulder width: 61 cm, sleeve length: 27 cm).

To display alongside the t-shirt, we also have the Shocker Chief Clock SECRET BASE MODEL. “The Great Leader of Destroyer (CV: Goro Naya)” has been upgraded with a pedestal as a special edition clock commemorating the 50th anniversary of Kamen Rider. There is no alarm clock function. The wall clock “Shocker Chief Clock”, which has delighted many fans since its release, is equipped with a special pedestal that can also be used as a table clock. If you set the main body on the pedestal, you can use it as a table clock, and you can also display the figures that fans have collected. The clock body precisely reproduces the emblem of the “eagle”, which is the symbol of the secret society Shocker, and the dial is placed under it.
As in the TV series, a lamp that blinks with a signal sound is embedded in the center of the eagle, and a symbolic globe is drawn on the dial. No Fear! No Pain! Moving onto the Heisei era, we have the Kamen Rider Kuuga x JAP Kobo Arcle silver925 Ring (Ladies Type). This is an authentic accessory by JAP Kobo, who creates unique silver jewelry and also handles costumes for movies and musicians. This ring set is inspired by and features the Cyclone symbol and the Joker symbol from the Kamen Rider W TV series. It is made of silver925 plating and rhinestones. The rings come in sizes: No. 9, No. 11, No. 13, No. 15.

“I’m the one who decides how this story ends!” Kamen Rider Saber is getting two new prop replica releases: the Kamen Rider Saber Sword of Logos key charm and the Kamen Rider Saber Luna pinky ring.

The Kamen Rider Saber Sword of Logos key charm is a “Sword of Logos” key charm seen on the Kamen Rider Saber TV series.
It comes with a ribbon just like the prop in the TV series. Both ends of the ribbon have the same cut-off specifications as in the show (they will fray).
