Moga Mogami Welcomes Her First Child

Moga Mogami shares her thoughts on marriage, motherhood, and the future.

Moga Mogami announced on May 1, 2021 that she had a healthy delivery and has welcomed a baby girl.

I want to announce that I had a safe delivery the other day. Thank you so much for all the cheers! I have a very healthy girl!

I was not prepared to have an earlier-than-expected birth, but thanks to the hospital staff, my worries gradually disappeared and I was able to have a safe delivery. I am very grateful to them.

Back in November of 2020, Moga Mogami announced her pregnancy and how happy she was. She recently talked about her marriage and pregnancy in an interview shared on Modelpress.

I was filled with joy! When I was about 28, I started to think about what kind of life I wanted and realized that I wanted to have a child…When I my idol life, I had more time to think about my life. I wondered what kind of life I wanted, and I wanted children in my life.

When I found out I was pregnant, I fell into a depression, then I got better, then I fell into a depression again. However, I became aware of how much more stronger I need to become. For the first time in my life I have someone to protect. I have to live for someone other than me.

Mogami also went into more detail regarding her thoughts on marriage.

I wrote (in my blog post) that at the moment, I do not have plans on getting married. But that does not mean that I will never want to get married.

Moga Mogami portrayed Mana in the 2014 tokusatsu series Ultraman Ginga S and its film in 2015 Ultraman Ginga S the Movie.
