Shin Kamen Rider Movie Directed by Hideaki Anno Announced

Toei Productions unveiled the movie Shin Kamen Rider directed and written by Hideaki Anno releasing in March 2023.

During the Kamen Rider 50th Anniversary press conference, Toei Productions revealed the Shin Kamen Rider movie which will be directed and written by Hideaki Anno, known for his work in Neon Genesis Evangelion, Shin Godzilla, and the upcoming Shin Ultraman movie.

Hideaki Anno commented on the production of Shin Kamen Rider:

“It’s been six years since production began. Due to changes in production because of the Coronavirus, the release of the film has been pushed to two years away. Thank you for your patience.”

Shin Kamen Rider is tentatively set to release in March 2023.
