Hello Kitty x Kamen Rider Decade Collaboration Event Announced
The rescheduled event will take place next month with actor Masahiro Inoue.
A special event will be held at Sanrio Puroland to commemorate the previously announced collaboration between Kamen Rider Decade and Hello Kitty. The event will be held on March 6 with actor Masahiro Inoue as well as Hello Kitty herself. Previously, both Inoue and actor Kimito Totani (Daiki Kaito/ Diend) had appeared at a collaboration event in 2020 for the line, but the roll out of the merchandise was delayed due to coronavirus concerns. The collaboration marks the third between Hello Kitty and the Kamen Rider franchise.
The event is to showcase the release of the new line of Hello Kitty x Kamen Rider Decade merchandise that will go on sale starting on March 10th. The line of merchandise will include Mascot Holder plushies of either Decade or Diend retailing for 3,080 yen, as well as a Tote Bag for 2,750 yen, a Sports towel for 1,980 yen, and 12 different circular badges and acrylic key holders retailing for 275 yen and 660 yen each.
Inoue was originally cast as Tsukasa Kadoya in 2009’s Kamen Rider Decade and has since come back to reprise the role in several series and movies over the past 12 years, most recently in Rider Time Kamen Rider Zi-O vs Decade: The 7 Zi-Os and Rider Time Kamen Rider Decade vs Zi-O: The Decade House Death Game, which recently streamed this month.
