This Week in Tokusatsu Merchandise 12/14/20 – 12/18/20
The tokusatsu merchandise roundup for the middle of December features a new wave of merchandise from the Kamen Rider and Ultra Series.
Taking off in the Kamen Rider category, we first have the Acrylic Logo Display EX Kamen Rider Fourze logo. These acrylic stands feature the possibilities of various displays, such as displaying with a single item such as a figure or displaying with a collection. The Kamen Rider Fourze logo measures approximately 135 mm width x 58 mm height and comes with a pedestal that measure about 115 mm × 23 mm. The acrylic stand is made of acrylic resin.
The Acrylic Logo Display EX Kamen Rider Fourze logo will go for 1,320 Yen (tax included) and is scheduled for shipment in February 2021. Preorders are being accepted starting until January 17, 2021 at 23:00 JST.
Next, we have the Kamen Rider Saber & Kamen Rider Series face towel. This face towel features a chibi-style Kamen Rider Saber in the middle with chibi-style past Kamen Riders on his left and right. On his left are: Kamen Rider Kuuga, Kamen Rider Agito, Kamen Rider Ryuki, Kamen Rider Faiz, Kamen Rider Blade, Kamen Rider Hibiki, Kamen Rider Kabuto, Kamen Rider Den-O, Kamen Rider Kiva, Kamen Rider Decade, and Kamen Rider Double. On his right are: Kamen Rider OOO, Kamen Rider Fourze, Kamen Rider Wizard, Kamen Rider Gaim, Kamen Rider Drive, Kamen Rider Ghost, Kamen Rider Ex-Aid, Kamen Rider Build, Kamen Rider Zi-O, and Kamen Rider Zero-One. The words “KAMEN RIDER SABER” are on both sides as well as the Kamen Rider Saber symbol. It is made of 100% cotton and measures approx. 320 mm x 860 mm.
The Kamen Rider Saber & Kamen Rider Series face towel from various Kamen Rider Series will go for 13,200 Yen (tax included) and is scheduled for shipment in March 2021. Preorders are being accepted today.
Going into Build’s world, we have the Kamen Rider Build Gentoku-san T-Shirt Collection. This collection features the various comedic t-shirts worn by Gentoku Himuro/Kamen Rider Rogue in the Kamen Rider Build TV series. Each t-shirt is made of 100% cotton and comes in sizes: M (US S), L (US M), and XL (US L). The collection is split into two waves.
Wave one includes: “Familiarity”, “Pomp and Circumstance”, “2nd Piece of Mindful, 3rd Piece”, “YES! NO!”, and “Same on the right”.
Wave two includes: “Farewell!”, “Agree”, “Infinity”, “Today’s chef”, “Way www”, and “Cheers”.
The Kamen Rider Build Gentoku-san T-Shirt Collection t-shirts from Kamen Rider Build will go for 3,300 Yen (tax included) each and are available now.
Joining Kamen Rider Build, Premium Bandai is also releasing the Kamen Rider Hibiki Hidekichi Shigemoto t-shirt. The shirt is desogned by Japan’s leading illustrator Hidekichi Shigemoto. It is a collaboration between Kamen Rider Hibiki and Mr. Shigemoto, who expresses Japanese elements with “ink”. Kamen Rider Hibiki, a Japanese-style rider, is drawn with a powerful touch. It is available in two types: standing and bust up, as well as three colors: white, black, and purple. The image on each shirt also comes in black, white, and purple depending on the main shirt color. The shirt is made of 100% cotton and comes in sizes: S (US XS), M (US S), L (US M), and XL (US L).
The Kamen Rider Hibiki Hidekichi Shigemoto t-shirt from Kamen Rider Hibiki will go for 4,180 Yen (tax included) and is scheduled for shipment in February 2021. Preorders are being accepted until January 17, 2021, at 23:00 JST.
The newest Kamen Rider SHODO-X figure set is now available for preorder. In this wave, Kamen Rider Build first appears in the SHODO-X Kamen Rider figure series. In addition to the main form “Rabbit Tank Form”, the enhanced form “Rabbit Tank Hazard Form” using hazard triggers is also included. By combining the head of the expansion parts set, other hazard forms that appeared in the TV series can be reproduced. Machine Builder is also included. In addition, a total of seven figures are in the lineup including Kamen Rider Cross-Z and his enhanced form, Kamen Rider Great Cross-Z. The set also comes with a piece of soda flavored gum. Blasting off into the Reiwa era, we have a big collection of Kamen Rider Zero-One merchandise. To begin, we have the Kamen Rider Zero-One compact backpack and compact lunch eco bag. Each compact bag is made of polyester and features two designs: A.I.M.S. and Metsuboujinrai.net.
The Kamen Rider Zero-One compact backpack features a lightweight and convenient knapsack. It has an adjustable gusset with a zipper (15 cm wide when opened). The shoulder straps are thickened so that the shoulders do not hurt easily.
There’s a zip pocket on the front for convenience. The fastener uses ribbon/string. The backpack measures vertical 43 cm x horizontal 36 cm (size when unfolded). There is one pocket on the outside and weighs 180 g.
The Kamen Rider Zero-One compact lunch eco bag features a lightweight compact lunch tote with a plastic hook that can be used for various purposes. The gusset is wide and the lunch box is designed so that it does not tilt. It is a water-repellent fabric. The bag measures approx. 24 cm x 28 cm x 18 cm (vertical x horizontal x machi). The total length of the handle is approx. 28 cm and it weighs approx. 30 g.
The Kamen Rider Zero-One compact backpack from Kamen Rider Zero-One will go for 2,750 Yen (tax included) while the compact lunch eco bag will go for 1,650 Yen (tax included). Both are scheduled for shipment in March 2021. Preorders are being accepted today.
Showing A.I.M.S. some love, we have the Kamen Rider Zero One AIMS SQUAD print t-shirt. The navy shirt features “A.I.M.S. SQUAD” on the front in a spray paint style and the A.I.M.S. symbol/logo on the back. It is made of 100% cotton and comes in sizes: M (US S), L (US M), XL (US L), and XXL (US XL).

Celebrating the recent release of the Kamen Rider Zero-One film, Premium Bandai is releasing the Kamen Rider Zero One REAL×TIME ZAIA 100% underpants. These underpants are worn by Makio Nodachi, ZAIA Enterprise Japan’s Managing Director, in the film. The front has the ZAIA ENTERPRISE logo and the back features “100%” as a reference to his actor’s stage name, Akira 100%. The underpants are made of 100% polyester and come in sizes: Men’s M (waist: 66 cm, hip: 90 cm, foot width: 36 cm, pants length: 23 cm, rise: 21 cm, inseam: 23.5 cm), Men’s L (waist: 82 cm, hip: 106 cm, foot width: 48 cm, pants length: 23 cm, rise: 22.5 cm, inseam: 24 cm), Women’s M (waist: 60 cm, hips: 76 cm, foot width: 32 cm, pants length: 18 cm, rise: 17.5 cm, inseam: 19 cm), and Women’s L (waist: 72 cm, hips: 100 cm, foot width: 44 cm, pants length: 21 cm, rise: 20 cm , inseam: 21.5 cm).

Premium Bandai is also releasing the Kamen Rider Zero One REAL x TIME Moore’s Rabbit charm. This stuffed rabbit is seen being carried by Moore/Kamen Rider Abaddon in the Kamen Rider Zero One REAL x TIME film. It has a pocket on the stomach. The charm measures about width 150 mm × about overall length 350 mm. It is made of polyester and synthetic leather. The print is embroidery (face) and it includes a pocket on the body stomach part.
The Kamen Rider Zero One REAL×TIME Moore’s Rabbit charm from the Kamen Rider Zero-One: REAL x TIME film will go for 3,850 Yen (tax included) and is scheduled for shipment in May 2021. Preorders are being accepted today.
Then, we have the Kamen Rider Zero-One Supporter hoodie. The hoodie part features a pair of HumaGear modules printed on and highlighted in Kamen Rider Zero-One’s iconic neon yellow color. The front has the Rising Hopper grasshopper image from the Rising Hopper Progrise Key. The sleeves have “TAKE OFF TOWARD A DREAM”, “A JUMP TO THE SKY TURNS TO A RIDERKICK”, and Izu’s HIDEN Intelligence barcode. The back features Kamen Rider Zero-One’s symbol as well as the Kamen Rider Zero-One logo and “SUPPORTER”. Underneath is, “We are entering a new era when synthetic artificial intelligence, “Humagears”, can support people in all areas of work. The new young president of an AI technology company leaps into action to save the dreams of all humanity!” as well as the logos for: HIDEN INTELLIGENCE, A.I.M.S., Metsuboujinrai.Net, ZAIA Enterprise, and Eden’s “Mysterious Organization” from the film. Kamen Rider Zero One Short Anime EVERYONE’S DAILY LIFE is getting rubber keychain releases featuring all the main characters from Kamen Rider Zero-One including: Aruto Hiden, Is (Izu), Isamu Fuwa, Yua Yaiba, Gai Amatsu, Horobi, Jin, Uchuyaro Raiden (Ikazuchi), and Naki. Each keychain is made of PVC and measures approximately 50 mm. Since these are Gashpon Online releases, the rubber keychain received will be random. Each character has a 10% probability. There are two versions.
Version one features all the above characters posing normally and smiling (minus Isamu Fuwa and Yua Yaiba) and includes an additional rubber keychain in the form of everyone’s favorite HIDEN Intelligence security guard, Mamoru.
Version two features all the above characters but each in a unique pose with a few even having added accessories (Fuwa Isamu and Yua Yaiba are wearing cat ears while Gai Amatsu is wearing ZAIA specs and glasses). This version includes Assassin Humagear/Ansatsu-chan instead of Mamoru in the previous version.

The final item in the Zero-One category is the Kamen Rider Zero-One chronograph watch. It is a solid black watch based on the image of Zero-One’s Rising Hopper. It is a design that the Zero-One color yellow shines on black. In the center of the dial, there is a series of “01” that’s imaged the effect of the change, and on the side, the silver and red lines of the body are designed. The chronograph second counter (6 o’clock position) has a design of the image of a Zero-One driver, the
chronograph minute counter (9 o’clock position) has a grasshopper icon of the Progrise Key, and the 24-hour counter (3 o’clock position) has a total of “01”. It is a wristwatch that expresses the world view of Kamen Rider Zero-One and also has practicality. The case, back cover, crown, and band are made of stainless steel. The dial and hands are made of brass. Yhe windshield is made of mineral glass. The machine used is the TMI VD53 (Japanese quartz). The watch measures a width of 40 mm x length of 47 mm x thickness of 12 mm. The band width measures 20 mm and the arm circumference size measures approximately 13.5 cm-19.0 cm. It is 10 ATM water resistant.

Making our way to the North Pole, we have the Kamen Rider Saber Sword of Logos chronograph watch. The watch highlights coloring that combines navy and antique gold with the image of the Sword of Logos uniform. It is a wristwatch that is also practical. In the center, the Sword of Logos mark is engraved on the entire dial. The index (number part) uses the characters in the work for engraving, and is designed to express the world view of Kamen Rider Saber. The case, back cover, and crown are made of stainless steel. The dial and needles are made of brass. The windshield is made of mineral glass. The band is made of cowhide (lining / synthetic leather). The machine used is TMI VD53 (Japanese quartz). The watch measures 42 mm horizontally x 49 mm vertically x 2 mm thickness. The band width measures 20 mm and the arm size measures about 13.5 cm ~19.5 cm. The waterproof level is 10 water pressure.

Moving onto the Ultra Series, we first have the Ultraman Orb ladies double watch. The square face is designed with Orb’s Ultra sign and Jugglus Juggler’s sign. At 2 o’clock, a red stone is placed in the image of a Jugglus Juggler. The long band that can be double-wound is elegant. The Orb Ring and small charm of Orb Calibur can be attached as an accent (because it is a specification that can be removed with small parts, please be careful not to lose it when attaching and detaching.) The
simple and elegant design based on black makes it suitable for both formal and casual wear. The set comes with a watch and two mini charms. The watch face measures approx. width of 29 mm x height of 35 mm x diameter of 8 mm (including crown). The belt measures approx. width of 14 mm. The arm circumference measures approx. 30.5 cm to 38 cm (size adjustment width). The charm size measures approximately width of 18.5 mm-21.5 mm x height of approximately 7 mm-11 mm. Ultraman Mebius is also getting a ladies watch release with the Ultraman Mebius ladies 2WAY watch (with charm). In the center of the small face, a flame mark inspired by Mebius is embossed. It has a bright red genuine leather band inspired by Mebius and a 2-way belt with an elegant gold bangle. You can match it according to the mood of the day. In addition, a small charm of the Mebius Brace can be attached as an accent (because it is a specification that can be removed with small parts, please be careful not to lose it when attaching and detaching.)
