Highlights from the Saber and Zero-One Film Stage Greeting
The main cast for both movies recently appeared on stage to talk about the double Kamen Rider feature presentation.
Here are some highlights from the stage greeting held on December 10, 2020:
Syuichiro Naito (Touma / Kamen Rider Saber from Kamen Rider Saber)
I don’t want to lose to him (talking about Masashi Taniguchi’s character). Taniguchi has a great aura around him that I worked hard not to lose.
Masashi Taniguchi (Bacht from Kamen Rider Saber)
I want to become Kamen Rider Falchion and defeat everyone on stage here.
Asuka Kawazu (Mei from Kamen Rider Saber)
I felt goosebumps when I watched the six riders transform with each having their own poses. I felt emotional to see everyone’s feelings become one. Compared to the TV series, my character is a bit different, as my role this time questions “what is a Kamen Rider?”
Fumiya Yakahashi (Aruto / Kamen Rider Zero-One from Kamen Rider Zero-One)
Zero-One has become a series that I can talk about with my own confidence, knowing everyone has enjoyed it. With this film, we were able to reach the climax of the TV series. I would be happy if everyone can love Zero-One until the very end.
Teruaki Sugihara (Director of Kamen Rider Zero-One)
It was a miracle that we were able to tell this story. Thanks to the cast and staff and everyone else involved, I can feel proud and call this my graduation film project.
Hideaki Ito (Esu / Kamen Rider Eden from Kamen Rider Zero-One)
I heard that the past guest Riders create their own transformation pose but mines was created by Director Sugihara and Jun Watanabe, and to me, the pose is my treasure. This is the first time I’ve appeared in Kamen Rider, and I’ve been a fan since I was young. In fact, my five year old watches Zero-One. Because of that, I wanted to appear in it.
It’s actually really hard to transform without having to look down when I insert my Progrise Key. Takahashi is really good at it and he became my teacher and taught me how to do it.
Noa Tsurushima (Is from Kamen Rider Zero-One)
I am very emotional. Of course it’s because of the fact that I’ve played the character Is for a year now but, seeing Is and Aruto’s relationship makes me teary eyed.
