Kamen Rider Saber November 2020 DX Toys Roundup

Bandai Toys released the latest wave of items in the Kamen Rider Saber DX toyline: transformation gear for a new Rider and several new RideBooks. 

First, we have the Transformation Holy Sword DX Onjuuken Suzune set. The Onjuuken Suzune is the transformation device and personal weapon of Tetsuo Daishinji (Slash)/Kamen Rider Slash.

To transform into Kamen Rider Slash, the user needs to press the button on the Hanselnuts to Gretel Wonder Ride Book to open it. The next step is to close the book and place it into the Onjuuken Suzune. Afterwards, the user presses the trigger to transform. It also features two modes: sword mode and gun mode. The corresponding sound effects are played based on what mode the weapon is in. Same thing with the transformation sounds. To activate the finisher, the user needs to first insert the Wonder Ride Book to the slot near the trigger. By inserting it in three times and pulling the trigger, the special finisher sound effects are activated. This DX toy is compatible with the DX Seiken Swordriver (sold separately).

The DX Onjuuken Suzune set from Kamen Rider Saber will go for 4,620 Yen (tax included) and is scheduled for release on November 7th, 2020.

“Jaou Dragon!” Next, we have the DX Jaou Dragon Wonder Ride Book. The Jaou Dragon Wonder Ride Book is the personal Wonder Ride Book of Kamen Rider Calibur, who uses it in the Jaken Caliburdriver to access his upgrade form, Kamen Rider Calibur Jaou Dragon. It is based on a dragon. To transform into Kamen Rider Calibur Jaou Dragon, the user needs to press the button on the Jaou Dragon Wonder Ride Book to open the page and activate the voice. Next, close the book and scan it to the Ankokuken Kurayami (sold separately). Once it’s scanned, set the Wonder Ride Book to the Jaken Caliburdriver and push the button at the end of the grip to transform. To activate the finisher, the user needs to first close the Jaou Dragon Wonder Ride Book while it is set in the Jaken Caliburdriver. Once it’s closed, press it again to open the page and activate the finisher.

The DX Jaou Dragon Wonder Ride Book from Kamen Rider Saber will go for 2,750 Yen (tax included) and is scheduled for release on November 21st, 2020. It can also be purchased as part of a set with the DX Ankokuken Kurayami & Jaken Caliburdriver for 9,328 Yen with the same release date.

More standard Ride Books are announced. By pressing each Wonder Ride Book, the name of the book sound is activated. Opening the page activates the story sound. Each Ride Book transforms the user into one of Kamen Rider Saber’s many new forms by inserting the Wonder Ride Book to the DX Seiken Swordriver (sold separately) and pulling the Kaenken Rekka out while the Brave Dragon Wonder Ride Book is still in the Swordriver.

The DX Saiyuu Journey Wonder Ride Book can be used alongside the Brave Dragon Wonder Ride Book and the Storm Eagle Wonder Ride Book to transform the user into Kamen Rider Saber Crimson Dragon.

The DX Bremen No Rock Band Wonder Ride Book can be used alongside the Brave Dragon Ride Book to transform the user into Kamen Rider Saber Dragon Bremen. In addition, the user can change forms by setting it into the separately sold Transformation Holy Sword DX Onjuuken Suzune.

The DX Tri Cerberus Wonder Ride Book can be used alongside the Lamp Do Alangina Wonder Ride Book and the Needle Hedgehog Wonder Ride Book to transform into Kamen Rider Espada Golden Alangina.

The DX Saiyuu Journey Wonder Ride Book, DX Bremen No Rock Band Wonder Ride Book, and the DX Tri Cerberus Wonder Ride Book from Kamen Rider Saber will go for 1,100 Yen (tax included) each. The DX Saiyuu Journey Wonder Ride Book and DX Bremen No Rock Band Wonder Ride Book are both scheduled for release on November 7th, 2020 while the DX Tri Cerberus Wonder Ride Book is scheduled for release on November 14th, 2020.
