Kamen Rider Saber October 2020 DX Toys Roundup

Bandai Toys released the next wave of items in the Kamen Rider Saber DX toyline: transformation gear for two new Riders, several new RideBooks, and the first power-up form. 

First is the DX Raimeiken Ikazuchi Emblem & Lamp Do Alangina Wonder Ride Book set. The Raimeiken Ikazuchi is the transformation device and personal weapon of Kento Fukamiya/Kamen Rider Espada.

To transform into Kamen Rider Espada, the user needs to use the Raimeiken Ikazuchi Emblem by scanning it at the tip of the sword and then attaching it to the handle. It then becomes the Raimeiken Ikazuchi. While the sword is inserted in the Swordriver, the user needs to place the Lamp Do Alangina Wonder Ride Book onto the Driver and pull out the Suiseiken Nagare to transform into Kamen Rider Espada Lamp Do Alangina. The DX Raimeiken Ikazuchi Emblem is sold as a standalone unit that attaches itself to the already existing sword base that comes with the DX Seiken Swordriver.

The user can also transform into Kamen Rider Espada Lamp Hedgehog by using the DX Needle Hedgehog Wonder Ride Book (sold separately) and placing it into the Swordriver alongside the Lamp Do Alangina Wonder Ride Book. The user then pulls out the Raimeiken Ikazuchi to transform into this form. Pressing the Lamp Do Alangina Wonder Ride Book activates the name of the book and opening the page will play the story sound.

The DX Raimeiken Ikazuchi Emblem & Lamp Do Alangina Wonder Ride Book set from Kamen Rider Saber will go for 2,750 Yen (tax included) and is scheduled for release on October 3rd, 2020.

Next in the line up is the Transformation Holy Sword DX Fuusoken Hayate set. It is the transformation device and personal weapon of Kamen Rider Kenzan. To transform, the user presses the button of the Sarutobi Ninjaden Wonder Ride Book and attaches it to the DX Fuusoken Hayate. Splitting the sword into two will open the Wonder Ride Book, thus transforming the user into Kamen Rider Kenzan Ninjaden.

The DX Fuusoken Hayate comes with three modes: Single Sword Style Mode, Two Sword Style Mode, and Shuriken Mode. The finisher is activated by sliding the Wonder Ride Book into the slot on the sword. Sliding it multiple times can be used to power up with other Wonder Ride Books. This item is also compatible with the DX Seiken Swordriver (sold separately).

The Transformation Holy Sword DX Fuusoken Hayate set from Kamen Rider Saber will go for 4,950 Yen (tax included) and is scheduled for release on October 10th, 2020.

Following, we have the DX Ankokuken Kurayami & Jaken Caliburdriver set. It is the transformation device and personal weapon of the villain Kamen Rider Calibur. To transform, the user presses the Jaaku Dragon Wonder Ride Book and scans it to the Ankokuken Kurayami. Then by attaching the Wonder Ride Book to the Jaken Caliburdriver and pushing the button at the end of the grip, the user transforms into Kamen Rider Calibur Jaaku Dragon.

To activate the finisher, the user scans the Wonder Ride Book to the Ankokuken Kurayami. Scanning the Wonder Ride Book multiple times can be used to power up with other Wonder Ride Books. The Ankokuken Kurayami can also scan other Wonder Ride Books, including the Legend Rider Series. The Jaaku Dragon Wonder Ride Book is also compatible with the DX Seiken Swordriver (sold separately).

The DX Ankokuken Kurayami & Jaken Caliburdriver set from Kamen Rider Saber will go for 6,578 Yen (tax included) and is scheduled for release on October 17th, 2020.

Next, we have the DX KingExcalibur & King of Arthur Wonder Ride Book set. KingExcalibur is a sword created by the King of Arthur Wonder Ride Book that can transform into the King of Arthur. The sword has two modes: holy sword “KingExcalibur” mode and the giant robot “King of Arthur” mode. Pressing the button on the back will activate the transformation sound. When the user inserts a Wonder Ride Book to the DX KingExcalibur and pulls the trigger five times, it will activate the finisher.

The set also comes with the DX King of Arthur Wonder Ride Book, which is also compatible with the DX Seiken Swordriver (sold separately) to transform into Kamen Rider Saber Dragon Arthur while the Kaenken Rekka is still attached in the belt. In addition, armor parts for the RKF Kamen Rider Saber Dragon figure (sold separately) are also included. Attaching these parts will make Kamen Rider Saber Dragon Arthur.

The DX KingExcalibur & King of Arthur Wonder Ride Book set from Kamen Rider Saber will go for 6,050 Yen (tax included) and is scheduled for release on October 31st, 2020.

Joining the lineup is the Sword Belt DX Sword of Logos Buckle & Kobuta 3Kyoudai Wonder Ride Book set. The Sword Sheathing Belt Sword of Logos Buckle is the belt and energy source used by Kamen Rider Buster and Kamen Rider Kenzan. It appears as part of the transformation sequence and is also equipped with two Sword of Logos Holders to store up to three Wonder Ride Books. It even has a slot for the DX Fuusoken Hayate (sold separately). The set also includes the DX Kobuta 3Kyoudai Wonder Ride Book. It is compatible with the DX Seiken Swordriver (sold separately). To transform into Kamen Rider Saber Dragon Dragon Buta3, the user pulls the Kaenken Rekka while the Brave Dragon Wonder Ride Book is still attached. It also serves as a form change for Kamen Rider Kenzan.

The Sword Belt DX Sword of Logos Buckle & Kobuta 3Kyoudai Wonder Ride Book set from Kamen Rider Saber will go for 3,630 Yen (tax included) and is scheduled for release on October 10th, 2020.

Entering the scene is the Transforming Trike DX GatrikePhone. The Trike Transforming GatrikePhone is a smartphone that was developed by the Sword of Logos. It’s used by Kamen Rider Blades and Kamen Rider Espada. The phone transforms into the Ride Gatriker Rider Machine which activates a transformation sound. The phone also comes with 10 types of sounds: different ringtones in GatrikePhone form and shooting noises in Ride Gatriker form. All RKF Kamen Rider Saber figures (sold separately) can ride this item.

The Transforming Trike DX GatrikePhone from Kamen Rider Saber will go for 3,520 Yen (tax included) and is scheduled for release on October 31st, 2020.

In addition to the Drivers and weapons, the DX Storm Eagle Wonder Ride Book and the DX Tenkuu no Pegasus Wonder Ride Book are announced. By pressing each Wonder Ride Book, the name of the book sound is activated. Opening the page activates the story sound.

The user can transform into Kamen Rider Saber Dragon Eagle by attaching this Wonder Ride Book to the DX Seiken Swordriver (sold separately) and pulling the Kaenken Rekka while the Brave Dragon Wonder Ride Book is still attached to the Swordriver.

The user can transform into Kamen Rider Blades Lion Pegasus by attaching this Wonder Ride Book to the DX Seiken Swordriver​ (sold separately) and pulling the Suiseiken Nagare (sold separately) while the Lion Senki Wonder Ride Book is still in the Swordriver. The user can also transform into Kamen Rider Blades Fantastic Lion by also using the DX Peter Fantasista Wonder Ride Book (sold separately).

The DX Storm Eagle Wonder Ride Book and the DX Tenkuu no Pegasus Wonder Ride Book from Kamen Rider Saber will go for 1,100 Yen (tax included) each. The DX Storm Eagle Wonder Ride Book is scheduled for release on October 3rd, 2020 while the DX Tenkuu no Pegasus Wonder Ride Book is scheduled for release on October 17th, 2020.

Need somewhere to store all your Ride Books? Well, Bandai is also releasing the DX Ride Book Hondana set. Each Hondana has space to store up to three Wonder Rider Books at a time. Since the set includes two Hondanas, collectors can store up to six Wonder Ride Books at a time. DX Ride Book Hondanas can also be stacked either vertically or horizontally.

You can also purchase a different set that includes the Zero-One AI Kaihatsuroku Wonder Ride Book. Attaching the the DX Zero-One AI Kaihatsuroku Wonder Ride Book to the DX Seiken Swordriver (sold separately) and pulling the sword out of the belt will play a special transformation sound.

The DX Ride Book Hondana standalone set from Kamen Rider Saber will go for 1,980 Yen (tax included) while the DX Ride Book Hondana & Zero-One AI Kaihatsuroku Wonder Ride Book set will go for 3,080 Yen (tax included). Both are scheduled for release on October 3rd, 2020.
