This Week in Tokusatsu Merchandise 8/24/20 -8/28/20
This week’s tokusatsu merchandise roundup features a Kamen Rider Zero-One Is Design short apron, the Kamen Rider Zero-One “Supporter” t-shirt, the Acrylic Logo Display EX Kamen Rider Drive logo, Kamen Rider Battle Ganbarizing Generation Box, Kamen Rider Tachibana Racing Club genuine leather pass cases & wallets, and the Ultraman Z silver925 necklace.
First is the Kamen Rider Zero-One Is Design short apron. The short apron features an “Is” logo in electric blue. Under it, the words “KAMEN RIDER ZERO-ONE” and the phrase “IS is the president’s secretary of HIDEN INTELLIGENCE” are printed. The pocket has the iconic Is barcode that’s printed on her hand in the TV series. The apron is genderless and easy to use. It’s made of 100% cotton and measures a total length of 42 cm, width of 90 cm, tape size of 100 cm, and pocket width of 20.5 cm.
The Kamen Rider Zero-One Is Design short apron from Kamen Rider Zero-One will go for 4,400 Yen (tax included) and is scheduled for shipment in October 2020. Preorders are being accepted starting August 25, 2020, at 15:00 JST until September 13, 2020, at 23:00 JST.
Following, is the Kamen Rider Zero-One “Supporter” t-shirt. The t-shirt features the words “KAMEN RIDER ZERO-ONE” as well as the logos for: HIDEN INTELLIGENCE, A.I.M.S., the “01” in the show logo, Metsuboujinrai.Net, and ZAIA on the front. The back features a Progrise Key with Kamen Rider Zero-One and Kamen Rider Zero-Two. The ability reads: SUPPORTER. HIDEN’s HumaGear barcode is printed on the sleeve. The shirt is made of 100% cotton and comes in sizes: M (US S), L (US M), and XL (US L). The illustrations were designed by Kamen Rider Zero-One’s story board and HumaGear designer, Seima Muto.
The Kamen Rider Zero-One “Supporter” t-shirt from Kamen Rider Zero-One will go for 3,960 Yen (tax included) and is scheduled for shipment in October 2020. Preorders are being accepted starting August 30, 2020, at 10:00 JST.
Going back to the Heisei era, we have the newest release in the Acrylic Logo Display EX series, an acrylic stand of the Kamen Rider Drive logo. These acrylic stands feature the possibilities of various displays, such as displaying with a single item such as a figure or displaying with a collection. The Kamen Rider Drive logo measures approximately 120 mm x 50 mm and comes with a pedestal that measure about 114 mm × 22 mm. The acrylic stand is made of acrylic resin.
The Acrylic Logo Display EX Kamen Rider Drive will go for 1,320 Yen (tax included) and is scheduled for shipment in November 2020. Preorders are being accepted starting August 28, 2020, at 10:00 JST until October 11, 2020, at 23:00 JST.
Next is the Kamen Rider Battle Ganbarizing Generation Box. Kamen Rider Battle Ganbarizing is the sequel to Kamen Rider Battle: Ganbaride with customizable game play including the player being able to create their own Riders and the ability to save their game and upgrade the stats of the characters they collect. The box features a three-pocket binder set that is convenient to carry your favorite deck in a binder with luxuriously decorated Kamen Rider belts in silver foil.
The belts featured include: Kamen Rider W’s Double Driver, Kamen Rider Decade’s DecaDriver, and Kamen Rider Kuuga’s Arcle. Nine cards (LR9 species) are also included along with a a special box made by Ganbarizing Co. Ltd. The binder body measures a height of 124 mm x width of 200 mm x diameter of 25 mm. Each card measures 8.6 cm x 5.9 cm while the box measures 33 mm x 297 mm x 385 mm.
The Kamen Rider Battle Ganbarizing Generation Box will go for 9,900 Yen (tax included) and is scheduled for shipment in November 2020. Preorders are being accepted until September 13, 2020, at 23:00 JST.
Racing back to the Showa era, Premium Bandai is adding a collection of Kamen Rider Tachibana Racing Club genuine leather cases and wallets including a key case, pass case, round coin case, bi-fold wallets (round and folded), and long wallet (round and covered). Each item features a switch between red and ivory leather, which is inspired by Kamen Rider #1’s bike, Cyclone. The Tachibana Racing Club symbol is accented. All also have an outer material made of cowhide.
The genuine leather key case measures 6.5 cm x 11 cm and approximately 18.5 cm x 11 cm when opened.
The pass case measures approximately 7.2 cm x 11 cm and has four card holding areas.
The round coin case measures approximately 10 cm x 7.5 cm. It has two card slots and one back pocket.
The bi-fold wallets come in two types: round and folded. The round bi-fold wallet measures approximately 10 cm x 11.5 cm x 2 cm and has four card holding areas. The folded bi-fold wallet measures approximately 9 cm x 11.5 cm x 1.5 cm and also has four card holding areas.
The long wallets also come in two types: round and covered. The round long wallet measures approximately 10 cm x 19 cm x 2 cm. It has 12 card holding areas, two large pockets, and a back pocket. The covered long wallet measures approximately 9 cm x 19 cm x 1.8 cm and also has four card holding areas.
The Kamen Rider Tachibana Racing Club genuine leather key case from Kamen Rider will go for 9,900 Yen (tax included) while the Kamen Rider Tachibana Racing Club leather pass case will go for 8,800 Yen (tax included). The Kamen Rider Tachibana Racing Club genuine leather coin case will go for 11,000 Yen (tax included), Kamen Rider Tachibana Racing Club genuine leather bi-fold wallets will go for 16,500 Yen (tax included) each, and the Kamen Rider Tachibana Racing Club genuine leather long wallets will go for 18,700 Yen (tax included) each. All are scheduled for shipment in December 2020.
Switching to the Ultra Series, we have the Ultraman Z silver925 necklace. This is an authentic fashion necklace with the image of the “Z” from the Ultraman Z logo. The details such as colors are expressed and it features the image of a gem that concentrates craftsmanship. The pendant measures a length of 1.2 cm x width of 1.4cm while the chain measures a length of 40 cm with a 5 cm adjuster. It is made of silver925 and resin rhodium plating.
The Ultraman Z silver925 necklace from Ultraman Z will go for 9,350 Yen (tax included) and is scheduled for shipment in October 2020. Preorders are being accepted starting August 28, 2020, at 18:00 JST until September 22, 2020, at 22:00 JST.
