Hiroki Iijima Tests Positive for COVID-19

Hiroki Iijima, who portrayed Emu from Kamen Rider Ex-Aid, has tested positive for COVID-19.

Iijima’s agency, Oscar Promotion, has announced that on August 4th Iijima tested positive for COVID-19. According to the actor himself, he came down with a fever of 37.5 degrees Celcius (98 degrees Fahrenheit) on August 2nd and took a PCR test. He received the results three days later. Luckily, he is only experiencing minor symptoms and his fever has since come down.

His agency released the following message: In accordance with the Health Department and the Ministry of Health, we are taking the right precautions to ensure his (Iijima) health. We are hoping for a speedy recovery.
