Kyuranger’s Keisuke Minami To Appear In GARO -VERSUS ROAD-
Uchu Sentai Kyuranger actor Keisuke Minami has been cast in the latest installment of the GARO franchise.
Actor Keisuke Minami has been added to the cast of the new series GARO -VERSUS ROAD- in the role of Kou Mizugame. The 34-year-old actor was quoted as saying he is very happy to be working on a GARO series which is one of his favorite tokusatsu series and has been around about as long as he has been in the entertainment business. Minami was most recently seen as the Humagear Bingo in a recent episode of Kamen Rider Zero-One earlier this year, but fans will know him best for his role as Tsurugi Ohtori/ Houou Soldier in 2017’s Uchu Sentai Kyuranger.
Announced back in February as the 15th Anniversary series for the franchise, GARO -VERSUS ROAD- stars actor Matsudai Kouya portraying a college student named Sena Kuon who is gifted a virtual reality headset and is brought into a game field with 99 other players. Offered a chance at their wishes being granted, the 100 players are tasked with surviving the Horrors hunting them in the game world and claiming the title of The Golden Knight, Garo, for themselves.
The show began airing on April 2nd and is the 9th live-action TV entry into the franchise and is scheduled to run for 12 episodes.
