Ultraman Zero Visits Typhoon Affected Areas To Lift Spirits
Typhoon affected areas in the Chiba Prefecture got a visit from Ultraman Zero in January.
Picking up the pieces from the devastating 2019 typhoon season has not been easy for some in Japan. The Chiba prefecture suffered one of the hardest hits, and rebuilding efforts are still underway. It is during times like these, that we are truly lucky to have tokusatsu heroes to look up to.
Tsubaraya Productions, which handles the Ultra series, established the Ultraman Foundation after the 2011 Japan earthquake. Their goal is to provide support the nation in times of struggle, specifically through reaching out to the youngest generation.

This was demonstrated recently in an event where Ultraman Zero visited several locations around Minamiboso and Tateyama. Ultraman Zero would appear for a handshake event and photoshoot to places where affected families go for aid. One of the places the tokusatsu giant visited was Genki Plaza, a childcare facility that aids 120 families. Everyone who participated loved the event, and spirits were high.
