Mill Creek Entertainment Announces Return of Ultraman And Ultraman Orb: The Origin Saga Releases

Mill Creek Entertainment moves forward with their releases of more Ultra series next year.

Fresh off the releases of Ultraman Orb and Ultraman Geed on Blu-Ray, Tsuburaya Productions and Mill Creek Entertainment have released the details on the next two sets of Ultra series to hit the North American market. February 11, 2020 will see the release of Ultraman Orb: The Origin Saga, a prequel to Ultraman Orb. Covering the backstory of Ikari Gai and Jugglus Juggler and how they came to inhabit their present roles, the Blu-Ray will also include the 12-episode special Ultra Fight Orb, taking place after the events of Ultraman Orb: The Movie – Let Me Borrow The Power Of Bonds!

Following the releases of the original Ultraman and UltraSeven series comes the highly influential series, Return of Ultraman. due out on February 25, 2020. The 1971 series follows the exploits of Ultraman Jack as he battles both classic and new kaiju and features the first team-up in the franchise’s history alongside UltraSeven and Ultraman. The season is noted as being a source of inspiration for director Hideaki Anno, who is currently working on the upcoming Shin Ultraman movie.
