Sota Fukushi Stars in New TV Drama, “Marigold in 4 Minutes”

The former Kamen Rider Fourze star will play the lead role in the love drama.

Sota Fukushi will play the role of Mikoto Hanamaki, an emergency paramedic who can see the last moment of a person’s life when he touches them with his hands. When he touches his stepsister, Sara Hanamaki, he discovers she only has one year left to live. Being in love with her secretly, he resolves to do his best to make her happy in her remaining time.

Also appearing in the show will be Ryusei Yokohama, who will play one of the other stepsiblings in the family, Ai Hanamaki. The show will revolve around the family’s interactions.

Sota Fukushi is recognizable as the lead role of Kamen Rider Fourze, Gentaro Kisaragi, while Ryusei Yokohama also appeared in Kamen Rider Fourze as the character Jiro Iseki, though he is most well known for his role of Hikari (ToQ 4gou) in the 2014 Super Sentai series Ressha Sentai ToQger.

Marigold in 4 Minutes is a manga by author Kirie that was serialized in the seinen (adult) manga magazine Big Comic Spirits from May 2017 to Deburary 2018. Marigold in 4 Minutes is currently airing on TBS on Fridays at 10:00 PM JST.
