Black Fox: Age Of The Ninja First Trailer Released
Ultraman Geed‘s Chihiro Yamamoto revealed as star of new ninja action movie.
The official website for the upcoming Black Fox: Age of the Ninja action movie has updated with information on its lead actress and a new trailer, which you can check out below. Originally teased back in March of this year, Chihiro Yamamoto has been cast as Rikka Isurugi, a woman born and raised by a secluded ninja clan. Rikka will have to deal with the arrival of a girl with mysterious power name Miya while also trying to avenger her father’s death under the guise of the titular Black Fox. The cast also includes Sakurako Okubo (Uchyuu Sentai Kyuuranger), Hideo Ishiguro (Ultraman Orb), Yuki Kubota (Kamen Rider Gaim), Kanon Miyahara (Kamen Rider Amazons), and Masayuki Deai (GoGo Sentai Boukenger, Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger). Koichi Sakamoto will direct the film with a script from Naoki Hayashi.
Noted as a fan of Hong Kong martial arts action, Sakamoto has been a staple of the tokusatsu genre for the past several decades. Starting out as a stunt actor working on Guyver: Dark Hero and stunt director for the Saban era of Power Rangers, Sakamoto has gone on to direct several Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, and Ultraman series with each incorporating elaborate wire work and practical stunts. After getting started in 2016 with appearances in Shuriken Sentai Ninninger and Kamen Rider: Heisei Generations, Yamamoto was cast in the role of Laiha Toba in 2017’s Ultraman Geed.
There is currently no release date for Black Fox: Age of the Ninja as of this article.
