Toei Company Issues Apology After Sexual Misconduct at G-Rosso
Eri Nakayama used social media to speak up about employees who sexually harassed her while employed at G-Rosso.
Eri Nakayama spoke up about being sexually harassed as an employee at G-Rosso which included being called an inappropriate name related to male genitalia, asked inappropriate questions, groped in her buttocks in passing, as well as getting her breast fondled. On July 6, while Toei Company, Ltd. and Toei Advertising, Ltd. are currently being investigated, the allegations have been verified. The employees guilty of sexual misconduct include one employee from Toei Advertising, LTD., and five employees from affiliate companies etc.
Toei Company, Ltd. and Toei Advertising, Ltd. takes the complaints of the victim seriously and will punish the six staff members accordingly.
In order to prevent any misconduct from happening in the future the company plans to:
- Make it mandatory for the hero show staff to attend a harassment training
- Creating a continuous harassment training program to prevent harassment and other misconduct
- Creating an outside contact person for staff to report anything anonymously
- To have a third-party conduct routine investigation on site
Theater G-Rosso is well known for having hero shows created by Toei Company.

Wow, I didn’t expect that Toei would take the complaint seriously and create what sounds like credible mechanisms to reduce harassment and to report it when it occurs.
