Kamen Rider Zi-O Summer Movie Filming Seeks Extras
Toei seeks hundreds of extras for the filming of this summer’s Kamen Rider movie.
As with last year’s filming for the Kamen Rider Build movie, Toei is looking to get extras involved in the filming of Kamen Rider Zi-O’s summer movie. The filming will take place over 3 days and will require 1,000 extras. Actors So Okuno (Sougo), Gaku Oshida (Geiz), Shieri Ohata (Tsukuyomi), and Keisuke Watanabe (Woz) will be on hand for the scenes requiring the extras. The scheduled date for the filming will start on May 17 in the city of Takasaki in Gunma prefecture, but may go until the 23rd depending on inclement weather.
For the filming of Kamen Rider Build the Movie: Be The One, which took place exactly one year ago, Toei used 3,000 extras to film several scenes involving the main cast from that season. The scene for the Zi-O movie is said to revolve around Sougo finally becoming a king. Additionally, we have our first look at a still from the upcoming movie of Sougo, Geiz and Tsukuyomi, which you can see below.
This years’ double billing of the Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger and Kamen Rider Zi-O movies, both of which are currently untitled, will debut in Japanese theaters on July 26th.
