Kamen Rider Kiva’s Yu Takahashi Announces Marriage

The former Kamen Rider Kiva actress held her dream wedding recently in the United States

In a post made to her personal Instagram account, actress Yu Takahashi announced that she had recently gotten married. The ceremony took place on May 18th at the Kahala Hotel and Resort, which is one of the top luxury resorts in Honolulu, Hawaii. Takahashi stated that she was happy to marry her new husband, Hiro, after he proposed back in July of last year. The post goes on to say that Takahashi was surrounded by the warmth and love or her family and friends which made this a dream wedding for her.

Takahashi is best known for her debut role as Yuri Aso in the 1986 story line of 2008’s Kamen Rider Kiva, as well as for providing the insert song “Feel The Same” alongside her on-screen daughter played by Nana Yanagisawa for that season. After the show ended, she went on to play the role of Makoto Kino/ Sailor Jupiter in the newly revived Sailor Moon musicals from 2013 to 2015. This past week saw her return to the Kamen Rider franchise in a small cameo during the Kiva arc of Kamen Rider Zi-O in the role of Sougo’s true first crush, coincidentally referred to as “Ms. Sailor.”
